Fragrance Load Calculator
Enter your wax weight and fragrance load to see how much fragrance oil to add.
Worked example: at 8% fragrance load with 200 g of wax, you need 16 g of fragrance oil (0.08 × 200 g = 16 g), giving a total of 216 g.
Formula: fragrance load % = (fragrance oil weight ÷ wax weight) × 100.
For reference only: container candles commonly use about 6 to 10% fragrance by weight. The safe maximum depends on the specific fragrance oil and wax, so always check the supplier's IFRA guidance and the wax's fragrance limit, weigh rather than measure by volume where you can, and test burn before selling.
